ohh amytripoline didnt work well on me constantly throwing up.. ohh the usual fm pains everywhere from ankles to shoulders lol,, my back is worse as i also have a squashed disc, my anxiety really has been horrific i'd lay in bed and it felt my whole body was shaking/vibrating.. they've now changed my pills again as mirtazapine isnt the right thing for me . as im a full time carer for my son too, nights i need to be alert, so now they have given me a non sedative lofeprmine.. dont no what this is like either lol xx

yes i am on Mirtazipine it is a anti-depressant and muscle relaxant which enables some deep sleep. My best friend is a psychiatric nurse and she was the one that told me to get my GP to prescribe them to me after amitripliline and another anti-depressant had cause really bad side effect for me.

mirtazipine have been a god send for me

hope they help you as much x

Yes, i am on 35mg's at night, the idea is that they can aid sleep, but they don't work for me that way. I had been on other anti-depressants following anxiety attacts brought on by the fibro, but they all had adverse side effects, so in that sense the Mirtazapine is excellent. I have found that nothing helps me sleep at all.

Hi, yea I was on Martazipine/Zispen a few years ago for depressio. I took 15mg in morni g & 35mg at night. They were great at getting me to sleep but gave me horrible vivid nightmareish dreams plus they made me gain weight. I coukd'nt stop eating but that was my fault the Doc told me. I am responsible about what & when I eat. I was taken of them & put onto Venlafaxine by a physciatrist & I am unable to get off them because if withdrawal effects. Also I was given tramadol for FM pain but the two meds do not work well together as I ended up with too much seritonin jn my body & made me very ill.

Give the Mirtazipine a try, everyone is different in how meds react with them.

Good luck

Jac
