Hi Spykids - I'm not sure how long they will keep you waiting. There aren't too many people around tonight, but I'm sure that one of our members who has been through this will be here tomorrow and will be able to give you some information.

Hang on in there - I'm sure things will be OK!

Love Moffy x

when i had my atos medical for ESA i heard in 7 days they were stopping it and DLA only took only 5 days to phone me and tell me they were stopping this as well on the back of the ESAmedical assesment (which they are not allowed to do) i got DLA back after reconsideration at a higher rate and ESA back on appeal but it proberly depends on their decision and on how many cases they have on how long it takes them to let you know hope you both get it and are both put in support group

I got a phone call, about 2 weeks after my ESA medical, then about a month i got the letter, I was put in the back to work support group, my ESA will stop in July, When you get the result, be sure to understand which group you're, in, I made that mistake, and missed the appeal deadline, I am going to ask to be reassesed, nearer the time when my ESA runsout, and when I feel am up to it. Good Luck

It took over a month for me to find out. I was put in the work related activity group.
I asked them to reconsider their decision and put me in support group with the reasons why I met the support group criteria and they phoned me to tell me I had been placed on support group within 2 weeks. Hope that helps be because I know I was a nervous wreck whilst waiting as I expected letter after a week. X
